I have shelved working on my game for a few weeks. I am trying to make a bit more progress with writing and posting on this website, which has been a huge success! I have managed to write a few cards, and an article on OpenBSD. I managed to meet my goal of getting more content published by the end of September.

I have been exploring programming in C with some old Advent of Code years, and improving my skills on debugging. I am hoping to participate in Advent of Code again this year doing it in C with no external dependencies (please tell me I’m crazy).

Preparation for the weightlifting meet on October 31st is going well. I am improving week-over-week, and my technique and health are both in great shape.

I have been struggling to put time into reading. I have gotten distracted by Balatro and its addictive gameplay. Send help!

Finally, I am enjoying the fall weather we have been having, going on some weekend runs with friends, and enjoying walks with the dog (not that I haven’t been enjoying walks with the dog for a few years now).

And, when I have time, I have been working through “An Introduction to Programming in Emacs Lisp” by Robert J. Chassell. I migrated all of the exporting and management of this website to Emacs, so I wanted to learn how to use my tools more effectively.
